The Impact of Internet+ on Education

Education is quietly undergoing a revolution” made me realize that the entry of Internet quality resources into the classroom is both an opportunity and a challenge. By entering the village primary schools, the teaching environment has been greatly enhanced. In a real sense, “broadband network is accessible to schools, high-quality resources are accessible to classes, and online learning space is accessible to everyone.” Most of the classrooms in the school can use high-quality digital education resources and IT tools to improve teaching quality and promote balanced development of education. Many platforms provide services for teachers to improve their IT application skills as soon as possible. The key to improving information technology in education is to strengthen teachers’ information literacy. Informatization ultimately comes down to educational change, improving quality and cultivating talents, and the most critical depends on teachers. How teachers keep up with the situation and adapt to the new needs of information technology development, retaining an active learning, keeping up with the times, willing to try and practice action, while constantly summarizing and sharing their own experience.

I. “Internet+” brings opportunities for education.

Optimize the allocation of educational resources and promote more equitable education without saying too much about the broad scope or high level of things, only I, a new teacher who has just joined the profession for two years. The subject I am teaching is far from my major. Far from each other, it can be described as interprofessional and interdisciplinary. In order to live up to the learning life of my students, I learned first by myself on the Internet, learning open courses, learning catechism, learning micro-lessons, I learned a lot of things, gradually leaders and colleagues ignored all kinds of labels of my amateur, in the process of my own growth, I deeply understand the plight of rural students. I conveyed my learning methods to my students, and also good resources to bring into the classroom, so that my classroom is much more vivid and interesting.

Respect individual student differences and meet individual student needs. Students arrange their own learning plan and schedule according to their own situation, and in the process of learning, they can repeatedly watch the teacher’s explanation when they don’t understand something, stop and think when they have doubts, or even seek help from teachers and classmates online. Students can choose their own classes according to their own preferences, which is also a kind of teaching according to their abilities.

Breakthrough learning time and space constraints, accelerate learning style change. Students can control the speed of learning according to their own situation, they can skip the knowledge they have mastered at any time, or they can repeatedly learn the knowledge they think they have not mastered enough, and finally achieve their learning goals through sequential learning, so that learning can be done at their own pace.

Change the original teaching method and enrich the content of subject courses. The Internet+ method sends learning resources related to teaching to learners’ cell phones, thus increasing the way of transmitting teaching information. The mutual communication between teachers and students is easy and simple, which improves the quality of teaching and learning effect.

II. Challenges of education in the context of “Internet+”.

The educational infrastructure in remote rural and underdeveloped areas needs to be improved, and some may or may not have it. Even if there are, they are not advanced, but basically eliminated or low-quality models. It is difficult to be as smooth as expected in the process of use.

Teachers’ educational philosophy needs to be deepened, the ability to use information needs to be improved, and many teachers, especially older teachers, always hold on to the “old size”, even if there is a change, it is forced to accept. Students’ ability to discern and accept knowledge is challenged. Moral and aesthetic education in traditional education is at risk of dilution. Students can rarely experience emotional things in the learning of Internet+, and the moral and aesthetic education of education is invariably diluted.

III. What measures should be taken in the face of challenges and opportunities.

Increase the investment in education resources and improve the level of protection. Strengthen teacher training and enhance teachers’ IT application ability.
